Well begun is half done. It’s the first week of the year and most of us, would have already kept resolutions for the new year. Resolutions varies from going to gym, burning the belly fat, giving up smoking, drinks, junk food, sweets etc. I had a friend whose last year’s resolution was to reduce his weight by 5 kg. in 2 months. Though he couldn’t reduce it, he was able to increase it by 2 kgs. in 1 month. And I found it similar for most of the people, they won’t be able to stick onto the resolutions for at least 2 weeks let alone for 52 weeks. Making a resolution is easy but holding onto it is tough. Working for it is Hard. But it is possible. Just you need the Belief and Desire.
So, make the resolution. Start by working on the Action. And Results will follow.
And 2018, was the year when Indians made a mark on the world stage, in the fields where Indians weren’t considered as competitive with the rest of the world.
It was the year when Kylian Mbappe became the second teenager, after Pelé, to score in a World Cup Final and help France to lift the Football World Cup.
It was the year when Nadia Murad became the seventeenth woman and first Iraqi to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. For her efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict.
It was the year, when Sunil Chhetri became the third highest goal scorer in the world (among active football players) behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.
It was the year, when the young Dipa Karmakar became the first Indian gymnast to clinch a Gold at a global event.
It was the year, when 24-year-old Avani Chaturvedi became Indian Air Force’s first woman fighter pilot.
It was the year, when 18-year old Hima Das became the first Indian sprinter to win a gold medal at an international track event, when she won the 400 m final at the World U-20 Championship.
It was the year when Black Panther became the first film to have an almost all black cast and emerge as the highest grossing movie of the year in US even ahead of The Avengers Infinity War.
And this new year could be the year, when you give your dreams the wings to fly. And making it big.
Wishing You A Happy & Healthy New Year!!!
